StoryBridge plans each program with attention to local conditions, accommodations, transportation, communication, and participant wellbeing.
Local Coordination
Programs are supported by trusted Nepali program coordinators, community partners, local hosts, and professional drivers familiar with the route and participating communities.
Communication & Support
Participants receive guidance on communication, transportation, expectations, and local conditions before departure and throughout the field experience.
Insurance & Emergency Planning
International participants are expected to carry or be enrolled in appropriate travel coverage that includes overseas medical treatment, emergency medical evacuation, security evacuation, and 24/7 assistance.
Program Changes & Contingencies
Weather, natural disasters, public-health concerns, transportation disruptions, civil conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances may require changes to the planned itinerary.
Flexible Program Response
StoryBridge may modify, postpone, relocate, suspend, or cancel activities when conditions require it.
Planning includes consideration of relocation, early departure, or other appropriate responses when circumstances change.
Institutional Communication
StoryBridge works directly with educational partners to communicate significant changes and coordinate appropriate next steps.
Financial and cancellation terms are outlined in institutional agreements and participant materials.
Pre-Departure & Institutional Coordination
Participants receive preparation covering travel, communication, cultural expectations, health considerations, packing, and the field environment.
