StoryBridge Nepal
StoryBridge Nepal Adult Field Journey
The Adult Field Journey is designed as the first small-group StoryBridge Nepal experience for adults — a meaningful, affordable, and carefully supported way to explore Kathmandu and Central Nepal while helping shape the future of the program.
This is not a commercial tour. It is a founding journey for adults who want to feel connected to people, place, story, and purpose while helping StoryBridge Nepal test the route, accommodations, transportation, local partnerships, and overall participant experience before expanding into larger university programs.
Helping Prove the Program Before University Launch
Universities and study abroad offices often need to see that a new international program has already been hosted, documented, and refined with outside participants before committing students.
This adult pilot allows StoryBridge Nepal to begin in a manageable and realistic way — with a small group of founding participants who can help verify the route, experience, safety considerations, partner connections, and overall program flow.
Participant feedback, photos, testimonials, and field documentation from this first journey will help strengthen future university partnerships while supporting the long-term development of StoryBridge Nepal.
Adults Who Want More Than a Traditional Trip
This founding journey is designed for adults who are drawn to meaningful travel, cultural exchange, education, storytelling, community connection, and the landscapes of Nepal.
Educators & Higher Education Professionals
We especially welcome educators, faculty members, study abroad professionals, and higher education leaders who are interested in seeing how StoryBridge Nepal could develop into a future university-aligned field program.
Parents of College-Age Students
Parents of college-age students may find this pilot especially meaningful as a way to experience the route, partners, and learning environment before future student groups are invited to participate.
Curious Travelers & Early Supporters
This journey is also for adults who love culture, photography, community, food, landscapes, and purposeful travel — and who want to help support StoryBridge Nepal in its earliest stage.
Participants should be flexible, open-hearted, and comfortable joining a developing pilot experience where feedback, patience, and curiosity are part of the journey.
What You May Take Home From This Journey
A Deeper Sense of Connection
Participants will have the chance to experience Nepal through relationships, shared meals, local landscapes, conversation, and meaningful time with the people helping shape StoryBridge Nepal.
Renewal, Perspective & Wonder
This journey is designed to feel grounding, adventurous, reflective, and human — a chance to step outside daily routines and reconnect with place, purpose, culture, and curiosity.
A Role in Something Bigger
As founding participants, adults will help bring StoryBridge Nepal to life by offering feedback, sharing reflections, and contributing to the documentation of a program built for long-term impact.
Program Overview
12-Day Founding Pilot
The main offering is a small, manageable 12-day adult pilot planned for late October or November, before Thanksgiving. This keeps the first program affordable, focused, and realistic to launch.
Coffee Farm & Community Connection
Participants will spend meaningful time in Central Nepal, connecting with the coffee farm environment, local partners, regional landscapes, and the daily rhythm of the StoryBridge Nepal field setting.
Founding Participants
This first adult group will help shape the future of StoryBridge Nepal by offering honest feedback, sharing reflections, and contributing to the documentation of the first hosted pilot.
Experience Highlights
Kathmandu & Central Nepal
The journey begins in Kathmandu with cultural grounding before moving into the Chautara–Irkhu region of Sindhupalchok District, where StoryBridge Nepal is building long-term relationships with local educators, families, and community partners.
Hands-On Learning & Local Life
Participants will experience agricultural learning, coffee culture, school and community introductions, storytelling, regional exploration, and reflective time in the hills of Central Nepal.
Storytelling, Reflection & Feedback
As founding participants, adults will help document the experience through conversation, photography, reflection, and honest feedback that strengthens future StoryBridge Nepal university programs.
12-Day Adult Field Journey
Founding pilot price per participant. This early rate is designed to make the first adult group more accessible while helping StoryBridge Nepal test, document, and strengthen the full participant experience.
Space will be intentionally limited so the first group can travel thoughtfully, receive personal guidance, and provide meaningful feedback on the experience.

Possible 12-Day Pilot Flow

Days 3–8: Travel to the Chautara–Irkhu region for coffee farm connection, community visits, school partner introductions, local exploration, and field documentation
Days 9–10: Light adventure or regional experience, such as rafting, river corridor exploration, waterfall hikes, or another feasible excursion

Cultural Slow Travel in Nepal
The 12-day Adult Field Journey is the primary program offering. For adults who want a deeper experience, a limited optional extension may be offered after the main pilot.
Possible extension routes may include Bandipur, Dhulikhel, Namobuddha, Chitwan, or another beautiful and manageable destination selected with local guidance. This would allow participants to continue the journey without making the full 18–22 day experience the main commitment for everyone.

- Transportation logistics and road feasibility
- Partner introductions and local coordination

- Balance between cultural immersion, adventure, rest, and meaningful community connection
- Photography, testimonials, and documentation for future university outreach
Helping Shape the First StoryBridge Nepal Adult Journey
Participants in the first Adult Field Journey will be part of a small founding group helping StoryBridge Nepal test, document, and strengthen the program before future university and adult learning experiences expand.
With permission, founding participants may be invited to be featured on a future StoryBridge Nepal page recognizing the trailblazing adult team who helped vet the route, provide feedback, and bring the pilot experience to life.
A short film and photo-based story may also be created from the journey to help share the experience with future participants, educators, supporters, and university partners. Public participation in photos, video, testimonials, or personal profiles will be optional and based on written consent.
Apply to Join the First Adult Field Journey
Because this is a small founding pilot, participation will be limited. This form helps us learn more about your background, interests, flexibility, and fit for the first StoryBridge Nepal Adult Field Journey.
Submitting this form does not confirm a place on the trip. We will review responses and follow up directly with interested participants who may be a strong fit for the founding group.
